Turkmenistan Delegation Participates in EU-Central Asia High-Level Political and Security Dialogue

Additionally, attention was drawn to the development of Turkmenistan’s digital economy and the importance of international collaboration in cybersecurity.

The final session revolved around discussing the threat of terrorism and the situation in Afghanistan. The Turkmen delegation underscored the need for international support to achieve stability in Afghanistan and highlighted projects that Turkmenistan has implemented in the country, including the “Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India” gas pipeline, power transmission lines, and railway construction.

Key representatives from the EU, including Deputy Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Political Director of EEAS Enrique Mora, EU Special Representative for Central Asia Terhi Hakala, EU Special Envoy for Counter-Terrorism Nadia Costantini, EU Counter-Terrorism Coordinator Bartjan Wegter, and EU Special Envoy for Afghanistan Tomas Niklasson, actively participated in the discussions.
