Turkmenistan Embassy in Belgium Awards Press Card to Journalist Derya Soysal Orient
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Belgium has recently presented an accreditation card to Derya Soysal, a journalist and expert in environmental management. Soysal, who works for international publications EU Reporter and Bruxelles Korner, is now officially recognized as a correspondent for Bruxelles Korner under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Soysal, a member of the Diplomatic World Institute, has been actively collaborating with Turkmenistan’s diplomatic mission in Brussels for the past few months. Through her participation in academic platforms, international conferences, and media appearances, she has been instrumental in shaping a better understanding of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, particularly its stance of positive neutrality.
Maral Rakhimova, a representative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium, praised Soysal’s comprehensive understanding of the Central Asian region and her ability to generate interest among the international audience through her speeches.
In her interviews and publications, Soysal highlights the importance of Turkmenistan’s international initiatives, with a particular focus on promoting the concept of the International Year of Peace and Trust in 2025, as declared by the UN at Turkmenistan’s initiative.
