Turkmenistan Participates in Regional Meeting on Global Migration Compact
A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by the Deputy Chairman of the State Migration Service, recently attended the Second Regional Meeting of Asia-Pacific countries to discuss the implementation of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration. The event, co-organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), was held in Bangkok, Thailand.
During the meeting, the head of the Turkmen delegation highlighted Turkmenistan’s humanitarian policies under the direction of the President, emphasizing the positive experiences gained through cooperation with international organizations.
