Turkmenistan to Honor Athlete of the Month in Orient
Turkmenistan Launches “Athlete of the Month” Competition
Turkmenistan has recently introduced a new initiative called the “Athlete of the Month” competition, allowing citizens to vote for the best athlete of the month through SMS. The project is being organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography, in collaboration with the “Türkmenistan Sport” TV channel, the “Mahabat” Department, and the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
For this month, seven athletes from the institute who have excelled in international competitions are competing for the title of “Athlete of the Month”. Each athlete has been assigned a specific number for voting:
– Shahzodbek Matyakubov – 7 7
– Sabina Kadyrova – 8
– Nurmuhammet Baydogdyev – 9
– Guvanch Hemrayev – 10
– Maida Porayeva – 11
– AmmanMuhet Homadov – 12
– Gulnabat Yazilova – 13
Throughout the month, viewers will have the opportunity to learn more about each athlete through video clips showcasing their training sessions, performances in international competitions, and highlights of their achievements. The athlete with the highest number of SMS votes will be declared the winner, and the results will be published on the website turkmentv.gov.tm.
The champion of the competition will be rewarded with valuable gifts and honorary certificates. A special program featuring the winner will be aired on the “Türkmenistan Sport” TV channel, and a television film will be produced to celebrate their success.
