Turkmenistan and Novgorod Region Agree on Fertilizer Supply Deal
During the international forum "Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan," Turkmenistan and the Novgorod Region reached an agreement on the supply of fertilizers. The deal was formalized as entrepreneurs from the Novgorod Region showcased their products at the event. Novgorodskiye Vedomosti reported this development.
A delegation from Russia, organized by the Novgorod Regional Export Support Center, included representatives from companies such as "T-ARM," "Eco Trade," and TD "Elegiya." Apart from fertilizers, these companies also offered lumber, furniture, and equipment for the oil and gas industry.
Negotiations took place during the forum, resulting in the signing of an agreement for the delivery of fertilizers to Turkmenistan. Alexey Syrnikov, the Director of the Novgorod Regional Export Support Center, praised the event’s organization and expressed optimism for the ongoing business cooperation between the two parties.
This agreement comes on the heels of Kazakhstan increasing its imports of Turkmen products and expanding its exports of various goods.
The partnership between Turkmenistan and the Novgorod Region highlights the potential for further economic collaboration and mutual benefits. With both sides looking to enhance trade relations, this agreement sets a positive tone for future partnerships in the region.
