
Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Presents Credentials to Mongolia’s President

Strengthening Ties: Turkmenistan and Mongolia Formalize Relations
On April 21, 2025, a significant diplomatic event took place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, where Parahat Durdyyev, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Mongolia (based in Beijing), presented his credentials to the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. This ceremony symbolizes a pivotal moment in the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the presentation, Ambassador Durdyyev conveyed warm greetings and well wishes from Turkmenistan’s President, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as from the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. In response, President Khurelsukh expressed sincere appreciation for these sentiments and highlighted the importance of advancing cooperative development between Turkmenistan and Mongolia.
Following the formalities, the Ambassador engaged in discussions with Battsetseg Batmunkh, Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. They explored various avenues for cooperation, focusing on political dialogue, trade and economic partnerships, and cultural exchanges. Both diplomats conveyed optimism that their ongoing dialogue would serve to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between their nations.
This meeting underscores the commitment of both nations to enhance ties and foster collaboration in various sectors, signaling a hopeful future for Turkmen-Mongolian relations.
