Fenerbahce Technical Director İsmail Kartal Expresses Concerns Before Match Against Çaykur Rizespor
Fenerbahce’s Technical Director, İsmail Kartal, recently voiced his concerns ahead of the team’s match against Çaykur Rizespor. Kartal emphasized the unsuitability of the playing field for the health of the athletes, citing hazardous conditions such as swamps in certain areas of the field.
“It was said that the environment is not very suitable for the health of the athletes and some parts of the field are swamps. How will we play football in these conditions? We will talk to our players inside and make a plan again. Will the match be played or will we be able to play? These places are a question mark. This field is one of our normal plans. Let’s see if the referees will let the match be played. If it is decided to play, we will do our best,” Kartal stated.
In response to Kartal’s concerns, Fenerbahçe football player Serdar Dursun also acknowledged the challenging conditions of the playing field but emphasized the team’s determination to secure a victory.
“We went on the field. It is not a suitable ground to play football. I hope there will be no injuries. I hope the ball flow will be solid. The ground is heavy, but we have no excuse. We came for 3 points. I hope we win today,” Dursun said.
As Fenerbahce prepares to face Çaykur Rizespor, it is evident that both the technical staff and players are confronted with the demanding task of adapting to the unfavorable conditions of the playing field.
