Uncle Vural’s Amazing Revival: His Heart Stopped 12 Times, But He Opened His Eyes Again
A Manavgat resident, Gül, experienced a miraculous recovery after having his heart stop 12 times. Gül initially sought medical attention at Manavgat State Hospital Emergency Service on March 20 due to chest pain. Despite the initial examinations, Gül’s condition suddenly worsened, leading to a heart attack.
The emergency service team at the hospital intervened promptly as Gül’s health deteriorated. Gül was transferred to Antalya City Hospital for further treatment, where Emergency Medicine Specialist Durmus Tarik Büyükkabış and his team performed several interventions, including electroshock therapy.
After being stabilized in the intensive care unit, Gül returned to Manavgat State Hospital to express his gratitude to the Emergency Service team. In a heartwarming gesture, Gül offered chocolates to the staff who had played a crucial role in saving his life.
Despite his miraculous recovery, Gül has no recollection of the events that transpired during his treatment. However, he recalls hearing voices urging him to open his eyes. Deputy Chief Physician Mehmet Ali Karlıdağ expressed his appreciation for the team’s efforts in bringing Gül back to life, stating that such moments are priceless for medical professionals.
Health worker Ferdi Çavga, who was part of the team that intervened in Gül’s case, reflected on the satisfaction of witnessing a patient come back to life multiple times. With over 25 years of nursing experience, Çavga emphasized the joy of seeing a patient recover against all odds.
Gül’s recovery serves as a testament to the dedication and expertise of healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to save lives. The team at Manavgat State Hospital and Antalya City Hospital are commended for their exceptional care and commitment to providing life-saving interventions.
