Understanding Election Bans: What’s Included?
As Turkey prepares for the upcoming elections, the country has implemented a series of election day bans. The voting will begin at 8:00 in the morning and end at 17:00 in the evening, with bans starting in the morning.
One of the main bans includes the prohibition of selling alcoholic beverages from 06:00 until 24:00 at night. All entertainment venues, such as coffee shops and internet cafes, will remain closed throughout the election day. Restaurants that are entertainment venues will only be allowed to serve meals.
Weddings can be held after 18:00, but in settlements, only those who are responsible for maintaining security and order will be allowed to carry weapons.
Additionally, the propaganda ban has begun and will continue for 24 hours. No news or broadcasts containing propaganda will be allowed until the polls close tomorrow.
It is important for all citizens to follow the election day bans and regulations to ensure a fair and democratic election process.
