Unraveling the Plot and Cast of the TV Series Bir Derdim Var
The shooting of the TV series “Derdim Var” continues at a rapid pace. The series, starring Birce Akalay and Mert Fırat, is an adaptation of the Italian production “Oltre La Soglia” (On The Brink). The strong cast includes Engin Hepileri, Neslihan Arslan, Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, Erdem Şenocak, İdil Sivritepe, Sami Aksu, and Sennur Nogaylar, along with Akalay and Fırat. They are also joined by young actors Eylül Ersöz, Ata Artman, Ava Yaman, Esila Umut, Ataberk Mutlu, Ezgi Gör, and Efe Poylu.
The series, titled “Bir Derdim Var” in Turkish, tackles the problems faced by teenagers and their families. The trailers of the series have already attracted attention, showcasing a different take on the subject. In one of the trailers, Doctor Nilüfer (played by Birce Akalay) says, “The only way to end suffering is not to end life,” as she extends a helping hand to a young man. The trailer also highlights a heated argument between Prosecutor Ömer (played by Mert Fırat) and Doctor Nilüfer, where she asserts, “I am trying to win those children that you regard as lost,” revealing her determination to support the young people until the end. The trailer hints at the conflicts that will arise between Doctor Nilüfer and Prosecutor Ömer, indicating that they will have significant clashes throughout the series.
The music for “Bir Derdim Var,” which explores the sensitive world of teenagers, is composed by Aytekin Ataş. Interestingly, this project marks the first time that Mor ve Ötesi acts as a music supervisor. Directed by Burak Müjdeci, the series’s adaptation design is created by Duygu Ertekin. The script, written by Yekta Torun, also includes Deniz Gürlek in the script team.
