USA Accused of Fueling Middle East Conflict by Hamas

The Israeli bombardment of Gaza has resulted in the deaths of over 27,000 people, according to recent reports. In response to the US attacks on Iraq and Syria, the Palestinian organization Hamas has issued a statement condemning the actions as fueling further conflict in the Middle East.
Hamas holds the United States responsible for the repercussions of its aggressive attacks against the two countries, stating that Washington has poured fuel on the fire in the region. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has reported the deaths of at least 23 pro-Iranian fighters in Syria as a result of the US airstrikes, while the Baghdad government has confirmed the deaths of 16 individuals in Iraq, including civilians.
The US airstrikes were launched in retaliation for a drone attack that killed three American soldiers in Jordan on Wednesday. US President Joe Biden has vowed that “more will be done” in response to the escalating tensions in the region.
The situation in the Middle East remains volatile as the consequences of these recent events continue to unfold. The international community watches with concern as the conflict shows no signs of abating.
