USA and Israel Discuss Iran’s Attacks and Possible Military Actions in Rafah
In a recent online meeting between national security officials of the USA and Israel, discussions were held regarding Iran’s latest attacks on Israel and Israel’s potential plans Wonder against Rafah.
According to a statement released by the White House, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan led the American side in the meeting, while Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi represented the Israeli side.
The statement highlighted the detailed discussions on Iran’s recent attacks against Israel and emphasized that the USA fully supports Israel in this matter. Both sides also agreed on the common goal of seeing Hamas defeated in Rafah.
However, concerns were raised by the US regarding Israel’s potential military actions in Rafah. The Israeli side assured that these concerns will be taken into consideration.
It was announced that both parties will reconvene soon for more comprehensive discussions. The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) confirmed that discussions on the situation in Rafah city in Gaza and Israel’s potential military operations are ongoing between US and Israeli officials.
Furthermore, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has scheduled a date to enter Rafah city in the south of Gaza.
As tensions continue to rise in the region, it is crucial for both the USA and Israel to work together to address security challenges and ensure the safety of their citizens.
