Utilizing Hungarian Strategies in the Dominican Republic to Combat Illegal Immigration

Hungary and the Dominican Republic Forge Alliance to Combat Illegal Migration
In a bold move to protect their citizens from the dangers of illegal migration, Hungary and the Dominican Republic have joined forces in what they describe as an alliance against international pressure. Hungarian Foreign Minister, Péter Szijjártó, made the announcement during a visit to Santo Domingo on Thursday, emphasizing the need for cooperation in addressing the security risks posed by uncontrolled migration.
Szijjártó highlighted the potential threats associated with illegal migration, including an increase in terrorism, the spread of organized crime, drug trafficking, and the formation of parallel societies, as seen in Western Europe. He stressed that migration is not a human right and that every individual should be guaranteed a peaceful and secure life in their own country.
Both Hungary and the Dominican Republic have taken proactive measures to secure their borders, with Hungary constructing a fence along its southern borders and the Dominican Republic in the process of building a wall along its border. Szijjártó asserted that border violations are considered attacks on national sovereignty and reiterated the importance of prioritizing national interests.
During the visit, Szijjártó and his Dominican counterparts signed six agreements aimed at enhancing economic cooperation, introducing Hungarian water management technologies, establishing a political consultation mechanism, and providing diplomatic training and scholarships for Dominican students studying in Hungary. The agreements underscore the commitment of both countries to strengthening their relations and addressing common challenges.
As Hungary and the Dominican Republic solidify their partnership, they send a clear message that national interests and sovereignty must be respected in the face of global pressures regarding migration. The alliance serves as a testament to the shared commitment of both countries to protect their citizens and ensure a secure future for all.
