UzAuto Motors CEO Fined for Mishandling Foreign Receivables

In a recent development, the CEO of UzAuto Motors and UzAuto Motors Powertrain, Bo Andersson, has been fined 5% of his salary. The penalty was imposed due to the failure to promptly address overdue accounts receivable from the company’s foreign trade operations.
According to a statement released by the company, “In accordance with Article 312 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (disciplinary measures), disciplinary action in the form of a fine of 5% of salary is applied to the CEO of the company, Bo Inge Andersson.”
