Indonesian Delegation Meets with Uzbekistani Prime Minister to Strengthen Cooperation

The vice president of Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin, led a delegation to Uzbekistan for a 5-day visit, during which they met with the prime minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov. The meeting was aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in various sectors.

During the meeting, both parties agreed to enhance collaboration in the areas of trade and industry. They also discussed fortifying cooperation between the chambers of commerce of both countries, as well as in the field of tourism and healthcare.

Expressing his satisfaction with the progress of bilateral cooperation, the vice president of Indonesia stated, “I am glad that bilateral cooperation between our countries continues to develop. I hope that in the future we will be able to strengthen this cooperation, including through mutual visits of leaders and officials of our countries.”

The Indonesian delegation, which included about 100 representatives of ministries, departments, media, and entrepreneurs, will hold bilateral meetings and negotiations with the government, ministries, and departments of Uzbekistan to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation.

As part of their visit, the delegation will also visit Samarkand, where they will have the opportunity to explore the Silk Road Samarkand tourist complex and meet with the leadership of the region and the city.
