During the meeting, Volodin conveyed greetings and warm wishes from Russian President Vladimir Putin to President Mirziyoyev. President Mirziyoyev highlighted the significance of thorough preparations for the second session of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission and suggested holding it in Uzbekistan with the active involvement of regional representatives from both countries. The leaders also agreed that parliaments should actively support and expedite priority trade, economic, and investment projects, as well as joint programs in labor migration and cultural-humanitarian exchanges.
