Uzbekistan Citizens Fined 332 Million UZS for Air Pollution Violations
In Uzbekistan, 1,356 citizens have been fined for air pollution in the first nine months of this year, according to the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change. Among the offenders, 117 of them are officials. The violations that led to these fines include burning construction waste, plant residues in fields and residential areas, and more.
Protocols have been prepared against these individuals under Article 88 of the Administrative Code, specifically for non-compliance with Atmospheric Air Protection Requirements. The total fines imposed on these individuals amount to 332 million UZS.
