Uzbekistan to Award 18 Million Soums to WWII Veterans

Uzbekistan’s veterans of the Second World War are set to receive a one-time monetary award of 18 million soums each, on the occasion of May 9. The monetary award given to war veterans has been increasing over the years, with the amount being 2 million soums in 2017 and the latest increase being from 2022, where veterans of the Second World War will receive 15 million soums as a one-time monetary reward.
