Uzbekistan to Open Textile and Footwear Trading House in Poland
A new Trading House of Uzbek Textiles and Footwear to Open in Warsaw
Uzbekistan is expanding its reach in the European market with the upcoming opening of a Trading House of Uzbek Textiles and Footwear in Warsaw. This exciting development was recently announced by the MFA news agency Dunyo.
The Trading House will be located in the wholesale and trade complex of the Polish capital GD International Poland Sp. oo. The decision to open this new trading hub was made following the signing of an agreement during the visit of a joint delegation consisting of MIIT employees and representatives of the textile industry.
Several prominent Uzbek companies, including Uztex Group, Aisha Home Textile, Qorajon Textile, and Parvoz Humo Ravnaq Trans, have already struck deals with Polish partners such as Rusinagency, Arlen Textile Group, LEGS, PPHU JOLA-STYL, SWP, Ptak, and Colorinvest. These agreements encompass the supply of yarn, fabrics, knitwear, ready-made clothes, and home textiles.
In addition to establishing business partnerships, the delegation also took the opportunity to visit the Union of Polish Weavers and major companies in Lodz. During these visits, discussions were held regarding the potential implementation of Polish technologies in Uzbekistan.
This initiative is part of Uzbekistan’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in international markets. Since the beginning of 2024, new trading houses representing Uzbekistan have been established in cities in China, Lithuania, and Russia. Looking ahead, plans are underway to open showrooms in South Korea, Kazakhstan, and a large wholesale market in China.
The opening of the Trading House in Warsaw represents a significant milestone for Uzbekistan’s textile and footwear industry, providing new opportunities for growth and collaboration in the global market.
