
Vehicle Registration Plate Fees Reduced

The Ministry of Justice has officially announced the revised rates for various services related to vehicle registration, re-registration, mandatory technical inspections, and other related procedures.
The new order titled “On Amendments and Additions to the Rates of Fees Charged for Issuance of State Registration Number Plates and Strictly Controlled Forms, Registration, Re-registration, Mandatory Technical Inspection of Motor Vehicles and Their Trailers (Semi-Trailers), as well as the Conduct of Examinations” has been registered, bringing changes to the fee rates.
According to the updated regulations, the fee rates are as follows:
– For state registration number plates (SRNPs) for motorcycles, electric motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, and trailers (semi-trailers): 1.5 times the base calculation units (BCU) (previously 1.75 times the BCU)
– For replacing a damaged, unusable, or broken single SRNP with a new one: 1.5 times the BCU
– For replacing a lost single SRNP for motorcycles, electric motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, and trailers (semi-trailers): 1.5 times the BCU
– For the registration of electric vehicles (including hybrid vehicles), motorcycles, electric motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, and trailers (semi-trailers): 1.5 times the BCU
– For the registration of all motor vehicles other than electric vehicles (including hybrid vehicles), motorcycles, scooters, and trailers (semi-trailers): 6.84 times the BCU
– For re-registration of motor vehicles, electric vehicles (including hybrid vehicles), motorcycles, scooters, and trailers (semi-trailers): 10% of the BCU
