Windy Weather Forecast for April 15-17 in the Orient
Unsettled Weather Expected in Turkmenistan: Strong Winds, Dust Storms, and Thunderstorms
From April 15th to 17th, Turkmenistan is bracing for unsettled weather conditions, with forecasts indicating increased wind speeds, dust storms, and the possibility of isolated showers and thunderstorms in certain regions.
Specifically, on April 15th, the Balkan velayat is expected to experience wind speeds intensifying to 16–21 m/s, while the Dashoguz velayat may see speeds of 12–17 m/s. The Akhal velayat and the northern part of the Lebap velayat could also experience wind speeds of 11–16 m/s, with dust storms likely in localized areas affecting visibility.
Moving on to April 16th, strong winds are anticipated in the Dashoguz velayat, as well as in the northern parts of the Balkan and Lebap velayats, with gusts reaching 13–18 m/s. In certain areas of the Akhal velayat, wind speeds may increase to 19–24 m/s in the afternoon.
On April 17th, gust speeds are expected to reach 18–23 m/s in the Akhal and Balkan velayats, 17–22 m/s in the Mary velayat, and up to 12–17 m/s in the Lebap velayat. Dust storms are likely to persist, and heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are possible in the Balkan velayat and localized areas of the Dashoguz, Akhal, and Lebap velayats.
Rainfall amounts of up to 25–40 mm could be recorded in certain districts of the Balkan velayat. Residents are advised to take precautions and consider these weather conditions when making travel and outdoor work plans.
