Israeli forces have carried out night raids on the houses of Palestinians in the West Bank, leading to the detention of at least 22 individuals. According to a joint statement from the Palestinian Prisoners Association and the Prisoners and Released Delegation affiliated with the Palestine Liberation Organization, the raids took place in the cities of Jenin, Qalqiliya, Bethlehem, Ramallah, and Hebron.
The statement also highlighted that among those detained, there was a child. The number of Palestinians detained by Israel in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, has now exceeded 7 thousand. This comes amidst an increase in detentions, raids, and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem following the Israeli army’s attack on the Gaza Strip.
