5.4 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Philippines – Breaking News
On May 20, 2021, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in the northwest of the Maygatasan region in the Philippines. The earthquake was recorded with a magnitude of 5.4 and was said to have occurred at a depth of 12.4 kilometers. This recent earthquake comes after a 6.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred on January 9, 100 kilometers off the coast of Sarangani, Philippines.
