50 Years Later: Reflecting on the Cyprus Peace Operation in Turkish History

A special presentation titled “Victory Coming with Dawn… The Cyprus Epic in its 50th Year” was introduced by Türk Eğitim-Sen in honor of the anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation.

The conference aims to delve into important topics such as the struggle for existence of the Turkish Cypriot people, the resistance towards the establishment of the TRNC state, and its significance as a symbol of sovereign existence. The panel discussion, moderated by Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Yeşil, will feature speakers Prof. Dr. Necdet Hayta, Dr. Suat Akgül, İsmail Bozkurt, and Dr. Oğuz Kalelioğlu, who will join online.
