“A Look at the 16th Luricina Fair” – BRTK
The 16th Luricina Fair in Time was recently celebrated by the Değirmenlik-Akıncılar Municipality in the Akıncılar village. The event began with a parade, followed by a band concert, folklore presentations, and dance performances. Mayor Ali Karavezirler affirmed the significance of Akıncılar for himself and the municipal council. He also brought attention to the unfulfilled promises of opening the Kiracıköy border gate and stated the municipality’s dedication to resolving this issue. Additionally, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic, Fazilet Özdenefe expressed the historical and cultural importance of Akıncılar and emphasized the efforts to address migration from the village and restore its past glory. The event served as a testament to the community’s unity and commitment to preserving Akıncılar’s heritage.
