A new mobile application called SuperApp set to launch in Almaty
A new mobile application called SuperApp is set to be launched in Almaty for tourists. Developed by the city akimat (administration) in collaboration with the company “Onay”, SuperApp aims to consolidate all key tourist services into a unified digital ecosystem to simplify access for both locals and tourists.
Users will not only be able to plan routes and explore attractions, but also purchase tickets for cultural and sporting events, as well as book excursions and tours around Almaty. The application will also offer VR-guided tours of well-known city locations.
By July 1, 2025, 113 cultural and sporting venues will be integrated into the SuperApp, according to the Akim of Almaty, Yerbolat Dosayev. This initiative is expected to be a significant development in the city’s tourism infrastructure, attracting a greater number of tourists to Almaty.
This innovative application is a step towards enhancing the tourist experience in Almaty, making it easier for visitors to explore the city’s offerings. Stay tuned for the official launch of SuperApp in Almaty!
