Antalya State Opera and Ballet to Present Giselle
The ballet “Giselle,” featuring stunning decor by Çağda Çitkaya, exquisite costumes by Nursun Ünlü, and captivating lighting design by Mustafa Eski, is set to dazzle audiences once more.
This timeless ballet, rich in supernatural elements, revolves around the heart-wrenching tale of Giselle, a young and demure peasant girl with a passion for dance, and Count Albrecht, who assumes the guise of a farmer named “Loys” to win Giselle’s affections.
In its final showing of the season, “Giselle” will showcase the talents of Rina Murata as the enchanting title character, Ozan Demirbaş from the Mersin State Opera and Ballet as Albrecht, Artur Ivanov as Hilarion, Milina Fidan Özbek as Myrtha, and the Village Pas de Deux performed by Haruna Takeda and Kaname Noi.
