Attended Book Launch Event for Tatar Özcezarlı’s “Gök Baharım” and “Sledgehammer” at BRTK
President Ersin Tatar recently attended the launch event of two books, “Gök Baharım” and “Sledgehammer”, written by writer-poet Aysan Özcezarlı. The proceeds from the sales of these books will be donated to the Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association.
During the event held at Rüstem Bookstore, President Tatar expressed his delight in being part of the promotion. He highlighted the significance of Özcezarlı’s efforts in compiling Turkish Cypriot literature, culture, and art into a book for the benefit of future generations.
President Tatar emphasized that Özcezarlı’s works serve as the foundation of Turkish Cypriot identity and praised his continued involvement in social responsibility projects. He commended Özcezarlı for his dedication and expressed his eagerness to read the book “Sledgehammer”.
The event was a success, with attendees showing great interest in the books and the cause they support. President Tatar’s presence and support added to the significance of the occasion, garnering appreciation from both the author and the audience.
