Azerbaijan and Spain Explore Economic Relationship Growth

Discussions on Economic Relations Between Azerbaijan and Spain
Discussions were recently held on the development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Spain, as reported by Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov, held a meeting with Maria Amparo Lopez Senovilla, the Spanish State Secretary for Trade of the Ministry of Economy, Commerce, and Business.
During the meeting, the importance of organizing the first meeting of the Strategic Economic Dialogue between the two countries in Baku was highlighted. Both parties expressed their hopes that the Azerbaijan-Spain Business Forum and the signing of the “Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Economic Cooperation” between the relevant ministries of both countries would contribute to the enhancement of economic relations.
Sharifov emphasized the significance of the meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez during COP29 in November last year. This meeting played a crucial role in expanding bilateral relations and identifying new areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Spain.
Overall, both countries are looking forward to strengthening their economic ties and exploring opportunities for collaboration in various sectors.
