Azerbaijan President Aliyev Signs Decree to Establish “Karabakh University” in Liberated Regions

This decision comes after the closure of the first higher education institution in the Karabakh region, which was a branch of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute. This institution, which operated as a university from 1973 to 1988, was forced to close due to Armenia’s occupation of the region.
