Meetings held in Uzbekistan for demarcation of Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan border
From April 7th to 13th, working groups dedicated to the demarcation of the state border between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan convened in the city of Karshi, Uzbekistan. According to reports from the National News Agency of Uzbekistan, citing the Cadastre Agency of the republic, the parties involved successfully installed boundary pillars in line with previously agreed-upon territories, marking a significant milestone in the official definition of the border.
Specialists participating in the demarcation process also underwent training exercises, aimed at enhancing their skills in the installation of boundary markers. The training sessions allowed participants to not only deepen their theoretical knowledge but also expand their practical expertise in the demarcation process.
The progress made during these meetings and training exercises signifies a step forward in the collaboration between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in establishing a clear and mutually agreed-upon state border. The installation of boundary pillars and the development of specialist skills are crucial elements in ensuring the efficient and accurate demarcation of the border between the two countries.
