
Brutal Street Attack: Woman Subjected to Lynching and Knife Attack – Latest News in Turkey

A mother of one was stabbed by her husband following an argument on İskele Street in İpekyolu district. The incident prompted a swift response from local authorities, who dispatched teams to the scene.
As the injured woman was rushed to the hospital via ambulance, onlookers attempted to take matters into their own hands by trying to lynch the suspect. Fortunately, police intervention prevented any further violence and the husband, identified as H.Ş., was apprehended and taken into custody.
Following his interrogation at the police station, H.Ş. was brought before the court today. In his testimony, he claimed that he suspected his wife of infidelity and sought to reconcile with her after returning from a work trip in Antalya. Despite their conversation, he expressed regret for stabbing her upon leaving the meeting.
H.Ş. has been charged with “intentional attempted murder” and remains under arrest as legal proceedings continue. Meanwhile, the victim, identified as Z.Ş., is receiving intensive care as she recovers from her injuries. The case serves as a poignant reminder of the urgent need to address domestic violence and safeguard the well-being of all individuals in our communities.
