Call for Applications: Financial Aid for Fine Arts Associations
The Department of Culture under the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment has announced that it will be accepting applications for financial aid within the scope of the Assistance Regulation for Associations Related to Fine Arts. The applications will be accepted between May 13-24, 2024.
According to the Department of Culture, associations can apply with 2 projects related to fine arts that they have realized or will realize between July 1, 2024, and April 30, 2025. Only one of these projects can be an international project. The total cost of the project to be presented should not exceed 252,000 TL, and the total amount of contribution that can be made to an association is limited to 126,000 TL.
The Regulation on Assistance to Associations Related to Fine Arts stipulates that the total cost of any project submitted by associations should not exceed 20 percent of the total budget appropriation of the Department of Culture, which is 1,260,000 TL. The Total Cost Amount for a project is set at maximum 252,000.00 TL, with a maximum contribution of 100,800.00 TL per project.
Interested associations can request the updated Application Guide, Application Form, and Project Acceptance Form from kulturdairesi.gov.ct.tr. It is emphasized that applications must be submitted using the updated forms for 2024 and filled out on a computer.
Financial aid is aimed at supporting projects, educational publications, training studies, and projects of cultural and artistic content by amateur associations related to fine arts. The aid is intended to help disseminate, develop, and document the cultural values of the Turkish Cypriot people while staying true to their essence.
The deadline for application acceptance is May 24, 2024. Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope, and incomplete applications will not be evaluated by the Commission.
