Recent developments have brought to light the extent of this support, with the approval of a $95 billion aid package to be distributed to Ukraine and Israel. Part of this aid is expected to reach Taiwan, while a mere $1 billion has been allocated for Gaza, which will eventually be delivered by Israel. This support from the West has emboldened Tel Aviv to increase its attacks, as evidenced by actions taken by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu’s promises of a land attack on Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, where 1.5 million Palestinians reside, have raised concerns about the escalation of violence. Despite international condemnation, Netanyahu has vowed to proceed with the plan, regardless of any prisoner exchange agreements. The question now arises: Will the massacre in Gaza ever cease if the financial support from the West comes to an end?
