China Shows Interest in Opening Branches in Kyrgyzstan
In a recent meeting between the Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Wang Huning, and the Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, Nurlanbek Shakiev, China expressed interest in establishing branches of its manufacturing enterprises in Kyrgyzstan.
Wang Huning highlighted the growing relationship between the two countries, noting that trade between Kyrgyzstan and China had reached $9 billion in the first six months of 2024, representing a 17.6 percent increase. This signifies the active development of bilateral relations in recent years.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the issue of increasing the number of flights between the two countries, indicating a desire to strengthen transportation and connectivity.
