CSO’s “Baroque Concerts” Season Continues

The Presidential Symphony Orchestra (CBO) is set to continue its season with a series of “Baroque Concerts”. According to the announcement from the Presidency, the concerts will take place at the Famagusta Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Palace on December 14, and at the METU Northern Cyprus Campus in Kalkanlı on December 15. The performances will be under the direction of Tolga Atalay Ün, with Ulaş Yurtoğlu as the soloist.

The program for the concerts will feature the best examples of Baroque music and will begin at 20:00. The lineup includes pieces such as JSBach’s Orchestral Suite No.3 in D Major, BWV 1068, Oboe d’amore Concerto in A Major, BWV 1055R, and Orchestral Suite No.1 in C Major, BWV 1066, as well as GPTelemann’s Oboe d’amore Concerto in G Major, TWV 51:G3.
