DMM refutes accusations regarding Emine Erdoğan
The Directorate of Communications’ Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) has refuted claims that a helipad was built specifically for President Erdoğan’s wife, Emine Erdoğan. In a statement released by the DMM, they clarified that the helipad in question, located in Ankara Polatlı, was actually constructed by the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises (TİGEM) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. This helipad was built for the use of the Polatlı Agricultural Enterprise in emergency situations, such as forest fires.
The DMM emphasized that the allegations regarding the helipad being built for Emine Erdoğan were fabricated and served to the media with the intention of manipulating public opinion. Despite reports in some media outlets, the DMM has confirmed that these claims are not true.
This clarification comes after misinformation spread in various media sources, prompting the DMM to address the issue and set the record straight. The DMM urged the public to be cautious and not believe unfounded claims, emphasizing the importance of verifying information before sharing it.
