The Dem Party Delegation to Meet with President Erdogan
In what has been described by the government as “terrorism without terror”, the Dem Party delegation is set to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. President Erdoğan has announced that he will be accepting the delegation tomorrow.
According to a statement from the Dem Party, Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan will be leading the delegation in the meeting with President Erdogan at 13.30.
This will mark the third political party tour conducted by the Dem Party İmralı delegation. Previous tours included meetings with the AK Party Parliamentary administration and deputy chairmen. Following the meeting with President Erdogan, the delegation is expected to go to İmralı for the fourth time.
In related news, there has been a call for the PKK to terminate itself. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli has suggested a congress gathering on May 4 to discuss putting an end to the terrorist organization. Bahceli stated, “Our proposal is to gather the PKK congress in Muş Malazgirt district to put an end to the discussions and bring this matter to a close.”
