Explore the Essence of Femininity at the EMU – BRTK Exhibition
Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is set to host an exciting exhibition titled “Femininity” in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th. The exhibition will showcase the works of talented artists such as İsmet Tatar, Nilüfer İnandım, Zehra Şonya, Nurtane Karagil, Serap Kanay, Hüseyin Özinal, and Hatice Tezcan.
Curated by EMU Art Coordinator Zehra Şonya, the exhibition aims to explore the concept of femininity and the ongoing struggle for gender equality. The works on display will delve into the various aspects of this struggle, seeking to shed light on the significance and complexities of gender in society.
Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition at the Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center starting from Thursday, March 7th at 19.00. The exhibition will run until March 30th, with opening hours from 10.00 to 17.00 on weekdays. To visit on Saturdays, visitors are required to book an appointment by calling 0533 866 30 85.
