Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan Hosts Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan recently hosted Elmedin Konakovic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ankara. Following their meeting, the two ministers addressed the press, with Minister Fidan speaking out about Israel’s attacks on Gaza.
Expressing his disappointment, Minister Fidan stated, “It is a shame that illegal occupation and inhumane attacks continue in Gaza. What is more important is that the West remained silent in the face of the horror in Gaza. We cannot remain silent in the face of the reception of mosques and schools. I call on the West to be a party to the crime against humanity committed in Gaza. To remain silent is to shine a green light on violations of law elsewhere in the world.”
The Minister reiterated his call for a full ceasefire in Gaza as soon as possible and emphasized the importance of stopping the Israeli attack and implementing the 2-state solution.
