The President of Ghana, Akufo-Addo, has expressed his confidence in the potential of Africa to become a global power center in the future. Speaking at the opening of the “Africa Prosperity Dialogues” program in Peduase, Ghana, Akufo-Addo emphasized that the continent has all the necessary resources to achieve this goal.
“Africa is too rich to be poor,” Akufo-Addo declared, highlighting the vast natural resources that the continent possesses, including oil, gas, minerals, and approximately 65 percent of all arable land. He also noted that Africa has the capacity to feed 9 billion people worldwide by 2030.
Akufo-Addo called on individuals and nations to contribute to the dream of building a stronger Africa. He expressed his optimism for the continent’s future, stating that he has never been more confident in Africa’s readiness to realize the 60-year-old dream of a united Africa.
