Henna Night Folklore Sketch Performed in Esentepe and Çatalköy
Esentepe Municipality Nostalgia Folk Dance Ensemble recently put on a performance called “Henna Night” in both Esentepe and Çatalköy. The show, which was dedicated to mothers, received high praise from the audience. The show was attended by Girne Governor Cemal Özcemoğlu, who remarked that the performance was a trip down memory lane. Following the show, Mayor Ceyhun Kırok thanked the performers and awarded trainer Erbil Akün with a bouquet of flowers. Overall, the show was a success and showcased the cultural richness of the region.
