Israeli Army Conducts Air Strike on Hezbollah Targets in Southern Lebanon
The Israeli army has announced that it conducted a series of air strikes on Hezbollah targets in the town of Khiyam in southern Lebanon. According to the statement released by the Israeli army, one-sixth of the rockets fired in the ongoing clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah since October 8 originated from Khiyam.
The statement also reported that two rockets fired from Lebanon into Israel fell into an open area. However, the official Lebanese news agency has reported that one civilian was killed and two others were injured in the recent air strike on Khiyam.
Since October 8, 2023, a total of 31 civilians have lost their lives in the attacks carried out by the Israeli army against southern Lebanon. In addition, 184 Hezbollah members, 6 Amal Movement members, 6 Israeli civilians, and 10 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the clashes.
