Israeli Army Raid in West Bank Leaves One Dead, Two Injured
In a recent report, it was confirmed that one person lost their life and two others were injured during a raid conducted by the Israeli army in the West Bank, where Palestinians reside in the occupied territory.
According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli soldiers carried out the raid in the city of Jericho in the West Bank, as well as in surrounding areas such as Aqaba Jabir, Ayn es-Sultan, and Duyuk al-Favka.
Tragically, 44-year-old Shadi Isa Celayta, a father of three from Jericho, was fatally shot by Israeli forces during the raid. Additionally, two more individuals were injured, with one person sustaining a serious chest injury.
The incident adds to the escalating violence in the region, with a total of 486 Palestinians having lost their lives in attacks by Israeli soldiers and illegal Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem since October 7, 2023.
Following the Israeli army’s attack on the Gaza Strip on the same date, there has been a surge in detentions, raids, and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, sparking concerns over the worsening situation in the region.
