Israeli Army Targets Hezbollah in Lebanon
The Israeli army has released a statement regarding their recent actions in Lebanon. According to the statement, Hezbollah targets in the Mervahin region of Lebanon were hit. The Israeli army also targeted a device used to open fire on Israeli territory and the area where anti-tank missile launches against Israel originated.
However, the Lebanese official agency NNA reported that Israel hit the Kerkezan region in the northeast of the Mays el-Jabel town with phosphorus bombs at night. The news also stated that Israeli forces carried out attacks on the surrounding areas of the town of Hula.
The ongoing clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah on the border have resulted in casualties. Since October 8, 2023, 28 Lebanese civilians and 152 Hezbollah members, as well as 5 Israeli civilians and 9 Israeli soldiers, have died in the conflict.
