IM Japan to annually receive up to 100 Kyrgyz interns for professional training
Bishkek – 18 January 2025
IM Japan has expressed its readiness to annually accept up to 100 interns from Kyrgyzstan for their professional training in Japan, as reported by the Ministry of Education and Science.
The internship program will cover various areas such as nursing, HoReCa (hotel and restaurant business), transport services (drivers), and cooking. Before being sent to Japan, the interns will undergo comprehensive training including learning the Japanese language, familiarizing themselves with the country’s culture, and mastering their professional duties. Once in Japan, additional training will be provided to further enhance their skills and qualifications.
IM Japan has also shown interest in supporting the interns even after the completion of the program, helping them apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in Kyrgyzstan. This approach aims to strengthen human resources and elevate the professional standards in the regions, as noted by the Ministry of Education.
Both parties have agreed to continue discussions on the terms and mechanisms for implementing the program, with the goal of initiating practical implementation in the near future. This collaboration between IM Japan and Kyrgyzstan holds the promise of enriching the professional development of Kyrgyz interns and fostering greater ties between the two countries.
