Joint Concert by LBO Children’s and Youth Choir and Kyrenia Chamber Choir on World Children’s Day
On June 1st, the Nicosia Municipal Orchestra (LBO) Children’s and Polyphonic Youth Choir will perform a joint concert with the Kyrenia Chamber Choir. The concert is in honor of World Children’s Day and will take place at the Rauf Denktaş University Cultural Center in Cyprus.
The LBO Polyphonic Youth Choir will perform songs such as “Vois sur ton Chemin”, “You Tell Me”, “When I Close My Eyes”, and “Kusimama”. The LBO Children’s Choir will perform “Heaven Is My Cyprus”, “Whose Sky?”, “Takatuka”, and “The Voice of Nature”. The Kyrenia Chamber Choir will perform “Bogoroditse Devo”, “Benedictus” and “Healing Light: a Celtic Prayer”.
To conclude, the LBO Children’s Choir and Polyphonic Youth Choir will sing “Let the Children Be Born with Peace” and all choirs will come together to perform “Al Yemeni Mor Yemeni”. The concert will be conducted by Oskay Hoca, with choir directors Hare Yakula, Buğçe Dikmenay Özer, and Tatiana Khaminza.
