Kozanköy Halloumi Festival: A Celebration of Tradition and Flavor
The Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality, Kozanköy Mukhtar’s Office, and Atoll Kozanköy Sports Club have joined forces to organize the “4th Kozanköy Halloumi, Molasses, Pastelli Festival”. This exciting event is set to take place on May 4-5 in Kozanköy village square.
The festival aims to showcase the significance of halloumi, molasses, and pastelli in Turkish Cypriot culture, while also celebrating the culinary heritage of Cyprus. Through various activities and events, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about these traditional foods and pass on the knowledge to future generations.
In addition to educational components, the festival will also feature games and concerts to provide entertainment for all visitors. The official opening ceremony is scheduled for Saturday at 14:00, kicking off a weekend of festivities.
