
“Madman’s Diary” performed in İskele.

Theater enthusiasts in Iskele got to witness a spectacular play titled “Diary of a Madman” on the evening of May 29th. The play was staged by the Girne Municipality Theater Group and was written by Nikolay Gogol. The play was directed by Ismihan Yorgancı and featured actor Ömer Dündar who gave a stellar performance.
The play was first staged on March 27th, which is also celebrated as World Theatre Day. Last night’s performance was part of the play’s touring schedule and was held at the Iskele AKM.
The music director for the play was Ufuk Aydoğan while Mehmet Saygıer was responsible for the light design application. The decor design and application was handled by Cem Taşlıovalı while Ulaş Baran Şahin and Yusuf Aşık managed the stage. Batuhan Oruç was responsible for the photo shoot and Esel Fatma Tüney handled the make-up.
Audiences were thrilled to witness the play and praised the performances of the cast and crew. The İskele Municipality Theatre hosted the play as part of its Theater Days in May, and the last performance of the event was a fitting end to a celebration of theater and the arts.
