The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Conveys Condolences to Pakistan for Flood Victims
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its condolences to the people and government of Pakistan for the lives lost in the recent floods in Punjab, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
In a written statement, the Ministry stated that they are deeply saddened by the loss of life in the flood disasters and extended their sympathy to those affected. “We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and offer our heartfelt condolences to the brotherly people and government of Pakistan,” the statement read.
The flood disaster in Pakistan has claimed the lives of 63 people due to heavy rains and lightning strikes that began on April 13. Many houses were damaged, and there was significant harm to the infrastructure in the affected provinces.
